Editorial policy
Principles
- Humane methods only. Training advice is based on reward-based methods. We do not recommend aversive tools or techniques that rely on fear or pain.
- Honest about uncertainty. Where evidence is mixed or individual dogs vary widely, we say so rather than inventing certainty.
- Vet first for health. Health and nutrition pages are general education. They never replace an examination, diagnosis or prescription from a licensed veterinarian.
- No paid placement. Recommendations are not for sale. If affiliate links are ever added, they will be clearly disclosed and will not influence what we write.
